Based at Kingston University, the London Graduate School is pleased to announce that it is able to consider PhD applicants for AHRC-funded studentships from 2014. Kingston University is a member of two consortia that have been awarded a total of £15.9m by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to fund more than 200 postgraduate students in London and the South East. Both a new Doctoral Training Partnership – TECHNE – and the establishment of the London Doctoral Design Consortium (LDOC) will bring together leading academic institutions, cultural organisations and industry partners to provide innovative postgraduate training and support for the next generation of researchers.

We encourage applications from students working in any area of the theoretical humanities, across the range of disciplines supported by the AHRC. We welcome interdisciplinary work. We would encourage prospective applicants to seek an informal discussion about their research plans in the first instance. Please contact either or by email.

For further information about the University’s role in the consortia, please visit the Kingston University website.

For details of how to apply to the DTP, please click here. Deadline: 19 February 2014.
